An teenage youth has been punished to life imprisonment with a base period of sixteen years for the homicide of other pupil Harvey Willgoose during a lunch period.

Lethal School Occurrence

Mohammed Umar Khan stabbed Harvey, who was also fifteen, through the chest with a hunting knife at Sheffield's educational institution in the winter month.

The judge lifted the anonymity limitation on the perpetrator during the punishment phase at Sheffield Crown Court.

The victim's mother stated she felt "as if a heavy burden has been lifted off my shoulders" following the judgment.
