Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43 have both been charged with murder and will appear before Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, according to law enforcement officials. Watkins, 48, was in the midst of a 29-year prison term at HMP Wakefield, with a further six years to be served on licence, after pleading guilty to multiple sexual crimes including the tried rape of a very young child. Watkins was apprehended subsequent to a drugs warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a substantial collection of electronic devices including computers, phones and drives were confiscated.
